So many interests so little time. And time with family comes first. Love outdoors and nature, that's why I spend most of my time indoors in a cube with no natural light. Camping, hiking, biking, swimming, boating, etc. Also enjoy having fun with friends, eating out, movies, clubs, live music, dancing, etc. Being a professional geek, computers & technology, etc. of course have to be an interest too. In the deeper end of the pool, I love to learn and discuss topics in philosophy, science, God, faith, religion, comedy, history, psychology, political issues, world views, relationships, etc. So to sum it up or follow a common thread, I'd probably have to go with "etc."
Real people. People who will "ADD ME" :) Friends with lots of different points of views but with open minds. Okay maybe not too opened that anything will fall out, but enough to both converse and to listen.
My tastes are pretty diverse and depend on the mood I'm in. I tend to lean toward the harder rock/rap side of the spectrum most of the time. Also like alternative, ska, punk, rockabilly, classic rock, 80's, 90's, dance, techno, some country, lounge, oldies, worship, r&b, blues, etc. Ears tend to bleed around too soft rock, elevator music or any muzak remake of any real song. Current artists in the playlist include: POD, Toby Mac, Todd Agnew, Creed, Audio Adrenaline, Reliant K, MXPX, Billy Joel, OC Supertones, PFR, Kings of Leon, Beatles, etc.
Matrix trilogy, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Wars trilogy x 2, Lethal Weapon trilogy, Back to the Future trilogy (see a pattern?) Okay maybe not all trilogies are my favorites. And maybe some of those later ones were a bit of a stretch. I like older fun movies like Airplane, Caddy Shack, Stripes, Fletch, Christmas Story, and some modern classics like Wedding Crashers, Napoleon Dynamite, etc. Not a big horror fan but like films that are a bit of a head trip like Fight Club, Silence of the Lambs, Sixth Sense, 12 Monkeys, etc. Like most guys, things that 'splode is good, so most action & scifi flixs are "good" too. Terminator (isn't that a trilogy too?), Aliens (2nd one mainly), etc Outside of above categories I really liked Ray & Walk the Line. All I can come up with on the fly for now...
Don't get to watch regular TV much, so out of the loop on most series. May catch one or two here and there. I get to watch after prime time mostly and I'll usually watch adult_swim , and Comedy Central , or some movie or re-runs of Seinfeld, MASH, Cheers, Simpsons, whatever entertains.
