Im Mark Recchi also known as Rex. Ive spent 18 years in the NHL most of them with the Philadelphia Flyers. I spent 4 1/2 years as a Pittsburgh Penguin, won a Stanley Cup in 1991 and then i was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers. Philadelphia Flyers traded Kjell Samuelsson, Rick Tocchet, Ken Wregget and 3rd round selection (Dave Roche) in 1993 to the Pittsburgh Penguins for Mark Recchi, Brian Benning and 1st round selection (previously acquired from the Los Angeles Kings - Jason Bowen) in 1992. Then i spent 3 1/2 years in Philly before being traded to Montreal. Montreal Canadiens traded Eric Desjardins, Gilbert Dionne and John LeClair to the Philadelphia Flyers for Mark Recchi and 3rd round selection (Martin Hohenberger) in 1995. Then I spent 4 1/2 years with the Montreal Canadiens and played for team Canada in 97-98 season and then was traded back to Philadelphia. Montreal Canadiens traded Mark Recchi to the Philadelphia Flyers for Dainius Zubrus, a 2nd round selection (Matt Carkner) in 1999 and a 6th round selection (previously acquired - Scott Selig) in 2000. Then I spent 6 1/2 years in Philadelphia playing for the flyers and made the playoffs every single year. In 05-06 I signed back where it all began, with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Im back where i was signed 18 years ago.I am a 7-Time All-Star and an All-Star MVP, Stanley Cup Champion, part of the "Crazy Eights" line in Philly 92-95, 53 goal, 70 assist, 123 point season in 1992-93, still the Flyers single-season point scoring record, and participated in the 1998 Winter Olympics for Team Canada.
