I find that I've already met most people I want to meet in the form of my friends.
I've found kindness, sympathy, humour, arrogance, and many other great qualities spread amongst them and some of them just amaze me.
Most of the other people I'd like to meet are long dead. I love ancient history and would relish talking to some of the people I've studied.
The people I wouldn't like to meet are those who are famous for only doing small things, like being in a band. Most are just ordinary people.
Anyone who won't muck me around and is great to spend time talking to is definitely worth meeting =]
Deathstars, Atreyu, Within Temptation, DragonForce, Lacuna Coil, Good Charlotte, Trivium, Metallica, Marilyn Manson, In Flames, Jose Gonzalez, Alice Cooper, Alkaline Trio, InMe, Alter Bridge, The Bravery, The Calling, Funeral For A Friend, Evanescence, Scott Stapp, U2, Seether, Sum 41...
The Last Samurai, Kingdom Of Heaven, Interview with the Vampire, Queen of the Damned, Gladiator, Sharpe, A Beautiful Mind, The Rock, Alexander, Titanic, First Knight, Shaun of the Dead, Naked Gun, Fight Club, Meet Joe Black, Troy, The Matrix, Family Man, Lord of the Rings (well, the last two), Moo-Lin Rouge XD...
Don't watch much live TV actually. The music channels can be found on in my room occasionally, along with The Simpsons, Q.I., and some Wrestling. (Yes, you did read that last one correctly). Used to watch Rome when it was on too... bring it back, now!
Anything by Bernard Cornwell is a great read for me. The Warlord Trilogy, Stonehenge, the Grail Quest series... yes, I am a war freak. Depends what you're in the mood for though, as with anything. Sometimes I feel like I need a story with a moral message, other times something about real life. I've even been known to dip into Charles Dickens from time to time XD. And for humour, Robert Rankin is a great choice I think.
Hmm, difficult one. My parents, for all the support they've given me. Belisarius and Sulla, for making learning about the past so interesting. Dave Draper, whenever I need motivation. Plus any unsung soldiers on forgotten fields that did something meaningful.
