About Me

I'm mostly harmless and socially inept, please ignore me.
Sometimes I drive really, really, really slowly just to piss off the people with NY plates behind me.
If you require further information please submit form A-M42613-Z.
I could be more cryptic but then even I wouldn't know what I was talking about...
I think Yurts are cool, and geodesic dome tents too. The idea of off-grid living in alternative structures makes me happy :) Find Me Home Again Jiggedy Jig! Home Sweet Profile... | Yay! My Interests

Photography, wink wink! Well, y'know, taking pictures. That kind of thing. Snow. Snow Snow Snow!!!! Weee! The skis are tuned, 'tis the season for playing in the snow!

Hmm, what else? Cars, yeah thats right I'm a stereotypical "car guy". I have a special fondness for older Alfa Romeos and odd little Japanese cars. And RC planes... yeah the geek in me plays video games too.

I like eating, sleeping, The Church of St. O'ned, dicking arround with broken electronic and mechanical shit, wasting my talent and time and talking about nothing for hours on end.

In No Particular Order Other interests include:
Being Lazy (not in a bad way mind you!)
Cooking Chili
Eating Good Food
Watching Movies
Snuggling and cuddling(you may wretch now if you need to, I won't be offended)
Night Photography (I guess this is really an extension of the above...)
Fine Beers Of The World
Not smoking (cigarettes (I'm very proud of this one!))
Trail Running
Winter Hiking
Listening To Music

I'd like to meet:

People who aren't just walking ads.

I'd like to learn how to play Cricket (see the Gromulator too), so if you are a person who does the Cricket thing you're on the list of people to meet.
Oh yeah, and I'd like to meet George W. Bush so I can kick him in the shins repeatedly like the immature ass he is.

P.S. If you have a Motorcycle to give me for free or almost no money or to trade for an Alfa Romeo 164s I'd also like to meet you! God I want a bike again... how metal are you?
well chances are your name is brendan (or should be) and you are metal as fuck. your enemies fear you, your friends hail you. pirates cringe when they hear your name. Which is ironic given the number of times you've dressed up as a pirate this year.

You are 'growing one's own food'.You are guided by two words: 'Live simply.' You value quality over quantity in most things, and you have little use for the materialism and consumerism of modern culture. You know the value of hard work and try to be self-sufficient as much as possible, and what you do you do well. Unfortunately, no man is an island, and you cannot do everything yourself. Your puritanical work ethic makes makes people think that you are weird, and not much fun. Your problem is that growing one's own food has been obsolete for a long time.

You are a real Vermonter born and bred. You get angry when M*ssholes ask if you lived on a farm and milked cows every day. You can also do a perfect imitation of a redneck accent because it's hilarious.

How Vermont are you?

Music:

I have a very bad music addiction. I have a list of 200+ albums I want to buy, and thats just the stuff I already know I want... New music makes me desire it mearly by it's existence. My music collection is quite eclectic. Not a huge fan of opera, but other than that I have and will listen to most anything happily.

but if it's music and it doesn't suck I'm generally all for it.

Movies:

Been watching the modern Asian horror/gore masters a lot recently, and although the films are stunning in many ways, I'm a little burnt on death right now... frankly it's starting to give me nightmares.I like almost any movie that doesn't suck, and some that do!

Other notables:
Howl's moving castle Princess Mononoke Blade Runner Monkeybone Not Another Teen Movie Casio Royal (best Bond Movie car chase yet!)
The Fifth Element The Professional (aka: Leon) Amelie Mirrormask Blade Runner THX 1138 Dancer in the Dark Ichi The Killer The Hitcher Hero House of Flying Dagers Big Trouble In Little China the whole Aliens series (except A3) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind The Good, The Bad and The Ugly Oldboy Rosecrantz and Guildenstern are Dead Children of Men and hundreds of others!

I'm still not sure how Forrest Gump won best picture when Shawshank Redemption was in the running.

Television:

Ah an easy one, I don't watch TV. (except for Survivor...) Ok, in the interest of full disclosure I also have to admit to watching DVD's of television series :) favorites as of the minute are:Dexter Weeds Lost Six Feet Under Northern Exposure The Family Guy

Books:

Recently I've really been into Sheri S. Tepper and Ursula K. LeGuin, though I'm gonna run out of those pretty soon... Mostly I read sci-fi, lots and lots of it. Does that make me a nerd? (yes, it probably does)

Heroes:

We can be Heroes, just for one day

And you, you can be mean
And I, I'll drink all the time
'Cause we're lovers, and that is a fact
Yes we're lovers, and that is that

Though nothing, will keep us together
We could steal time, just for one day
We can be Heroes, for ever and ever
What d'you say?
My score on The What You Never Knew About You Test :

Psychopath
(You scored 71%Psychopathology, 52%Sexual Deviance, and 56%Gullibility!)

You are a nut-case. Sorry, but there it is. The personality matrix doesn't lie. You'll probably die in a hail of bullets, clutching the severed head of a small child. The ideal career for you is Traffic Warden.Your Totem Animal is the most evil creature on the planet...
