PEADY WHEATY

For a long time Chicago has been a considered the "land of the haters", so when you have an EMCEE who is championed both by the streets and the hip hop community alike, you HAVE to take account. Growing up on Chicago's South Side was no easy task and PEADY WHEATY was born right in the middle of it on 79th street. Known as being one of the nation's most notorious strips, it has birthed and reclaimed some of the citys most influential saints and sinners. "As a child I use to sit on the corner of 79th and AVALON and watch the cars and people pass me by. I use to just watch everything, it fealt like i was a camera man in the hood." PEADY WHEATY grew out of this land to become well known for both his book knowledge, as well as his streets smarts. These are the same smarts that give him the lyrical ability to transform some of Chicago's meanest blocks into a motion picture that you won't be able to take your eyes off of. After releasing 2004's "Tha Undaworld" with the group Tha Undaworld, and 2006's "Tha FIXTAPE" (mixtape) under MIXT DIRT MUSIC, PEADY has been working on several projects with some of Chicago's, and some of the nations most notable and "well respected" rhyme sayers. Now under the EZG imprint PEADY looks ready to make a major impact in 07 and 08 and EZG is currently exploring major lable backing for distribution.
