to everyone who has e-mailed me to ask for advice about tattoos and where to get them: John at "Wild at Heart" in Millvale is the tattoo god. I finally talked his lazy ass into getting a myspace page so now if you look for "John" in my friends list (I think there's only one john . . . not sure) then you can talk to him directly and set up appointments or whatnot. feel free to still e-mail me if you want to know more before you talk to him . . . but I just figured in case anybody wanted to cut out the middleman I'd give you the chance.
You rule, John!
as for my interests besides ink, all of my old interests were harmful. I just finished getting rid of all my interests. I smoked too much, I drank too much, and fucked everyone I knew. Now I'm clean . . . and also incredibly bored. I need some new interests, any suggestions?
I used to like music, but I got sick of snobs, and I used to be political, but I got old and gave up. I guess I like working out? Wow, now I sound shallow. hehe.
for a person to be worth meeting, they have to: (I'll probably keep adding things as I think of them . . . )
1. be really really angry about at least one thing that isn't political
2. be really really sad about at least one thing that isn't love
all people I find to be worth knowing are crazy. crazy bad people. if you haven't been diagnosed with any mental disorder, and you haven't done anything terrible that you're ashamed of, then you're probably not interesting enough to be worth talking to.

ok, time for a preliminary attempt at this music section thingy . . . I'm sure I'll have to update it about 6,000 times as I remember things. by the way, I found myself adding the phrase "but only their old stuff" so often that I decided to just symbolize that with an asterisk by the name of the band

I don't want to fill this one out because it is going to be the most generic "hey, this is what 24 year old males watch!" list ever. Ever. I watch simpsons, family guy, everything on adult swim, and that's about it.
about the only non-cartoon, non-crap shows that I watch are House and Scrubs, which is ironic since I hate medical shows as a general rule. I blow.
Nietzsche, Daniel Quinn, Ayn Rand, Neil Gaiman, Kant, "Antigone", Ibsen, Dostoevsky, Kurt Vonnegut, "In the Penal Colony", Chuck Palahniuk
but for the most part I never read anymore. it always confuses me that so many people associate reading with intelligence. reading is just frustrating for anyone who is even mildly smarter than a rock because either you agree with the author and you're wasting your time or you disagree and you have no way to argue back. excruciating!
I don't have heroes. I think we should all strive for perfection and I've yet to see anyone who was perfect so why look up to anyone? I guess the closest thing I have to a hero is my idea of the perfect person. If you want to know who that is then, um, I guess you could cut together random sections from all the books I listed and maybe you'd come out with something close. or not.
of course, now my hero is me, because america has spoken!
hehe, I do dumb things when I'm bored!
