Beach Blanket Bingo

Beach Blanket Bingo - a five-piece power pop outfit from Ely, Cambridgeshire in the UK. Since forming in the mid 90s they established themselves as one of the area's finest bands. Incidentally the name comes from a cult 1960s American film about, sun, sea and a game called, yes, Beach Blanket Bingo.Shortly after forming the band soon became renowned for their dynamic and energetic live shows which included supporting Oasis and hosting its own 'club night' featuring Radio One DJ Steve Lamacq.
