Motivated by life long lessons learned in various nooks and crannies throughout the Florida Coast, emerged a street savvy, southern grown hip artist Hollaway A.K.A. Holla. Born C. Hollaway, of Lakeland, Florida his path to becoming the next Hip Hop Phenomenom began as the headlining DJ with a group called P-Funk Express. The group played various hip hop venues throughout the Florida market but still left Hollaway with something to be desired. The emptiness lead him to step further into the game and begin writing songs, as pen pressed to paper stunning material began to develop. Hollaway left the lavish life he built for himself in florida to relocate to Baltimore, MD. He connected with C. McGee[Murda], J. Tate and S. Tate[Barr$], the group became good friends and collaborated to form the label to which he is currently signed, GreedyBoyz. As for the material, it has been put to good use, in march 2007 his debut album "That Deal" will hit record stores. it's a compilation of gritty street anthems that feature his melodic Florida style seasoned with unsympathetic B-More flavor. Now that his path has been drawn his goal is to be the best at what he does will be achieved. A new trend has begun, be watchful, because this cat is THAT DEAL.
