I am here for Friends

About Me

"Live well, laugh often, love much."
When it comes down to the nitty gritty, this is basically what I'm striving for.
I will try anything at least once (as long as it doesn't directly involve spiders)
I am actually addicted to nature and will start to get cranky when I experience withdrawal.
I like to keep my life rich with color, in all different forms.
Conversations involving physics and/or philosophy make me quiver with excitement.
I'm a skeptic but astrology and metaphysics oddly intrigue me very much (taurean sun under cancer rising and sagittarrean moon)
Massage therapist (unfortunately under hiatus) & aspiring nurse.
I love the smell of burning wood. If my eternity consisted of evil flying monkeys shooting arrows at me, endless irritating pop music, and gnats that never leave your head alone; but had the smell of burning wood...I might just be okay with that.
People tend to think of me as being a little hippyish with my approach to alternative/holistic healing. I like to view the well-being of a person as a whole, and figure out ailments from there instead of taking laboratory made pills. Which is ironic since I'm going into this field.
Sometimes I prefer the company of animals to that of humans.
One of my life-time goals is to see the aurora borelis.
I'm a stargazer (existing in a universe awe's me).
I'm a good listener and quite observant.
I love to wear boots and chunky gemstones.
I'm a little obsessed with Brian Froud and his faeries.
I really love music. All different kinds.
Spiritual in own sense. With age, my own philosophy keeps evolving and morphing. It's important and healthy to keep the mind open to new ideas, thoughts and theories to me.
I fortunately own a fantastic sense of humor that keeps life light and amusing. Even in the worst of moods, I can easily burst into laughter.
My family and friends mean everything to me.

My Interests

Being silly, hanging with my peeps, music addict, roadtrips (the near and the far), phase ten!, learning, movie fiend, conversation, painting faeries and trees, widgits, photography, knitting squishy things, paganism/buddhism/wicca/etc, quantum physics, Brian Froud(I 3 faeries!), thai massage, ethnic treats, trader joe's, holistic health, exploring, thrift stores, clearance racks, vintage, nature(climbing trees, sunrise mountain, waterfalls, the smell of pine needles), vines, corsets, boots, dreamland, everything about autumn, tattoos, good coffee or tea, camping(bonfires!), mythology, psychology, stuff ending in ology, reading tarot cards, attempting astral travel...
