About Me

"When one door of happiness closes for us, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us" -Helen Keller That is true- so we need to make sure we're paying attention :) It would be hard for me to express in mere words how blessed my life truly is. God has given me so many reasons to smile and carry on with a happy heart. He has placed people in my life that are truly amazing. I couldn't thank Him enough. Oh yeah, and I absolutely love my boyfriend :)And I like sparkly. sparkly anything.

I got my own Free MySpace Layout from Pyzam.com

Heroes:

Anyone can be a hero- they don't have to have power, money, or prestige to be one. I think anyone who is strong hearted yet humble enough to know how to treat others, those that show true respect and those who show good work ethics. In life there are givers and takers and those that give so selflessly I believe are great people to look up to. My parents- for their support, love, and wise counsel for the last 26 years, my brother and sister for their faith and friendship. And our troops- whom I proudly support.

You don't have to suck it up.

I didn't read my book today.  My Max Lucado book- that I've been "blogging" about for quite some time now.  I didn't even think about it, or look at it.  Until tonight.  A girl at ...

Why the 'b' in doubt? Dout would be just fine.

Back to the book that I started "ages" ago.   It hasn't collected dust or anything, and is always in plain view for me.  It sits on top of my desk in my room. But I hadn't been reading it. &...

A lot to think about.

Room for Improvement

Potpourri of thoughts.

So I picked up my "Traveling Light" book. I had put off reading it the past several days, and I had missed it. I try not to read too much at a time, so that the main points can just marinate up in my ...
