Yo what up! Basically my music bio goes like this (Check my other profile for my 1st love FILMMAKING) ....I started out listening to West Coast rap back in the early 80's. Listened to mad NWA, Compton's Most Wanted, DJ Quick, etc... I was born in the 70's but definitely see my self as an 80's child. After listening to all that thugged out music, I started to get more into the New York scene. That's when Nas was "Nasty" and Wu-Tang ruled the world. I started paying close attention to the culture of hip hop and began to develop an ear for that raw sound. I started listening to more producers and dreaming about 1 day making ill beats myself.I went to college and that's when I really started getting more serious about making tracks. I remember listening to "Mass Apeal" by Gangstarr and I was like "OHH". That was the illest. That's the raw hip-hop I wanted to make. I was mad excited!!! So my roommate Mezo 1 (What up Fam) would show me some stab moves on his turntables and we would invite our peoples over for a freestyle session. Those were the days.Fast forward to the present. I'm out here grindin, making ill beats, but now everybody wants that commercial sound. Not me. Give me some KRS 1, De La, Wu-Tang, Nas, Del and the whole Hiero, Masta Ace, EPMD.........Any Day.
