About Me

My name is Brian Decker and I am the owner of Pure Body Arts, as well as a world recognized body piercer and scarification/modification artist. I've been doing body piercing for a decade, scarification/modification work for 5-6 years. I'm well versed with all your facial, body, and genital piercing and scarification/modification desires and practice a 100% sterile technique. PURE is a friendly, high end shop offering the most unmatched quality jewelry you will find in all of NYC, as well as the most extensive sterilization guidelines around. All piercing will be done using 100% sterile technique, which is almost unheard of in this city, and we are well versed with any piercing related procedure you can think of. With all of that in mind, we were still able to keep the pricing extremely competitive. We will also be offering extraordinary scarification work which you won't find anywhere else in NYC. We have spent a lot of money to build one of the cleanest looking shops in the boroughs and the staff has an impeccable knowledge to keep things running as clean as it looks.
All of our talented tattoo artists will be available to draw you any custom designs you have in mind and provide you with the most comfortable, safest experience you can imagine. One of the biggest things our shop prides itself on is making you comfortable and letting you know we really are interested in what you have to say and what you, the customer, ultimately want.
We are open Thursday - Tuesday from 12pm until 8pm.
Artists will be available from these times to answer any questions you may have about a design, or about any of the services we offer. They will also be able to set up an appointment for you. If you can't make it into the shop to set up an appointment, you are always welcome to call us at 718 384 3377. We also encourage walk-ins.
Our shop is located at 134 Boerum Street in Brooklyn, NY. We are on the corner of Grahm and Boerum just 2 blocks from the Montrose Ave. stop on the L train, and 2 blocks from the Flushing Ave. stop on the M train.
