They say never meet your idols, but in the realms of fantasy I would like to meet Bob Dylan. Although in reality he would terrify me. He would also hate me adding YouTube videos of him to my Myspace. But fuck it, its not like I will ever meet him. So I would like to meet Bob. And kiss him. And probably make him feel as uncomfortable as only a fan could. Bob...

Recently read Ham On Rye by Charles Bukowski, loved it.
Just finished reading The Cement Garden by Ian McEwan.
I read and love a lot of poetry books, particularly Philip Larkin and D. H. Lawrence.
I'm currently reading Sons and Lovers.
I also read any magazine I find lying around, which is usually Daves "Nuts" or "Zoo". Lucy Pinder, what a great writer. Such strong advice.
"There used to be a time when the idea of heroes was important. People grew up sharing those myths and legends and ideals. Now they grow up sharing McDonalds and Disneyland" - Bob Dylan
Its quite difficult to pick heroes without me chopping and changing my mind... I admire lots of people, but I don't know if I would call someone "My Hero!"
Here are some people I admire or just think "WOW" for various reasons:
Bob Dylan
Morrissey
Paul Weller
John Cooper Clarke
Mark Knoffler
Chrissie Hynde
Humphrey Bogart
Jarvis Cocker
Sam Cooke
Philip Larkin
D.H.Lawrence
