The White Room emerged at the end of 2004 following the merger of indie bands The Outdoor and Figurehead. Figurehead's front man Jay and bassist Dave joined forces with The Outdoor's leader Steve and stixman Dean.
The band's debut gig was at The Actress and Bishop in April 2005. The first Demo's were recorded shortly after, and a few shows were played in August. In October the band played its final gig with Dean on the throne.In November 2005, the band signed Steve Coot on a 'Bosman' from The Coots. The new line up debuted towards the end of November at The Actress and Bishop.2006 brought a mini-tour of the region during February and March, and the band commenced recording during April and May.2007 saw the boys leaving their mothers' bosoms for the first time, as they left their homes, and ventured out in to the big world.The debut album, A Little White Room In A Tree House, is out now!!!!!
