Being deployed at this time, my interests have shifted a bit. Instead of listening to music after work, I listen to the jets and helos taking off and landing. Instead of driving around town and visiting friends and local haunts, I ride my bike around the base and watch maintenance being done. While these things aren't usual for a mother of 3, I chose to do this and I'll do it to the best of my abilitz.
I love the oldies music from the 60's, 70's and 80's ... rock n roll ... country, etc. These new groups coming out these days aren't singing .. they're screaming - obscenities and crude jestures. I do not see how they can call this "music". Oh well, a sign of the times, I guess.
I have several favorites ... An American President ... We Were Soldiers ... Jarhead ... Gone With The Wind ... Tomb Raiders ... just to name a few.
