Urlicht (Early Light)
O red rosebud!
Man lies in deepest need!
Man lies in deepest pain!
I would rather be in heaven.
I came upon a broad path;
A little angel came and wanted to send me away.
Ah no! I would not be sent away!
I am from God and will return to God!
The dear God will give me a little light,
Which will light my way to eternal blessed life.

This poem speaks of the primeval source of creation (in its direct translation) - I however see it as a reawakening of my being and an ever-growing desire to begin anew each day. I find comfort not only in its image of the 'kind omnipotence' but also in it central message of an accessible personal reformation/resurrection.
I'm mostly interested in classical music (I do study it predominately in school), but that does not mean that I do not enjoy other kinds. I usually find it hard to get along with people who say that one particular type of music (this also applies to any art) is better than the other. I respect everything for it's individual qualities, much like people.
I enjoy movies every now and then.
All the time!
