"Art is born of the observation and investigation of nature." ~Cicero I like art: painting, drawing, making pottery, writing poetry, music. I like hangin out with friends and family. Cooking, I went to culinary school, got my associates degree. It was fun, but now just looking for the right type of work. Did the corporate commercialized restaurant, NO THANKS! Never going back to that. I like to go shopping, walk around downtown, hang out at borders sometimes. There's a lot more to this category, you just gotta see for yourself.Lawrence's Art Work
If I could go back in time, I'd love to meet Frida Kahlo. She's a bad ass Mexican painter. Lived a hard life, but her passion for art was like no other. She's my favorite painter. I want to go to her house in Coyoacan, Mexico; the Blue House. I've seen some of her original paintings at an exhibit at the Mexican Fine Art Museum. Awesome!"There have been two big accidents in my life, Diego. The trolley and you, you are by far the worst." ~Frida Kahlo(1907-1954)
I like pretty much all types of music except for ONE-Banda. You don't need to go to the circus, the circus comes to you. It's annoying. I do like jazz, my brother has gotten me into it a lot, lately. From Duke Ellington to Ella Fitzgerald to Poncho Sanchez. You name it, he's got it. I like spanish, reggae, country, hip hop, rap, mostly the older stuff more than the new. Most of it has gotten really annoying. Ignorant. I rather stick to Cypress Hill, Eazy E, Tupac, etc.
I like comedy videos Pablo Francisco, Carlos Mencia, Jeff Garcia in The Ice House, George Lopez. Movies i can watch and never get tired of: Full Metal Jacket, Frida, Tortilla Soup, When Harry Met Sally, The Thomas Crown Affair, Shawshank Redemption. There's more but I can't think of them right now.
Will & Grace, Friends, That 70's Show, Gilmore Girls.....
I like reading, just depends on what type of book it is. I can't really say either, if it looks interesting, i'll pick it up. I've read some of the best books though. My Bloody Life by Reymundo Sanchez, Once a King Always a King same author, that's the second part. Once you open those books you can't put'em down. I'm now reading Alice in Wonderland and the World Trade Center Disasters by David Icke. It's a really interesting book. I would've never looked into that kind of book if it hadn't been for my friend introducing me to David Icke.
