Spring 2001 Tallahassee, Florida a dynasty was emerging. T.O.S.C. (Thugged Out Southern Click) was created among friends; Earnest Toon Betterson, Marcus Ski White, and Iboro Tunk Inyang. Ski and Toon had written rhymes together before, but the newly acquired Tunk was the beat man. While in class one day Toon and Tunk came up with a concept for a song. A couple days passed and Tunk made the beat. Using the sound recorder program on Toons computer the group made its first song; I Bet U Wont Hit Dat Bit. Doing the song for fun, the streets immediately responded to it. Fueled by the response from the song, the trio continued to record. In 2003 the group acquired three new additions; Telogia R.I.P. Moore, Lance 2G Rolle, and Roy Amp Smith.
The following year R.I.P. went to the Air Force and the group was shortened to five. T.O.S.C. would score their first local success winning Bodyheads Rep Yo City competition sending them to Pensacola to record their first demo. Fully motivated T.O.S.C. hit the streets pushing their demo. They soon got the attention of Robert Kelly and Kelley Parker of Rtists First Management who signed the group in 2005. Backed by a management team, T.O.S.C. hit the road doing numerous shows in Florida from Tallahassee to Orlando. Increasing their buzz by winning 100.7s Apollo Tuesday competition, T.O.S.C. gained recognition from Tallahassees own TJ Chapman. T.O.S.C. is currently doing shows and working on a mixtape, while preparing for their debut album titled TEAMWORK which will be released later this year.
