About Me

Moved around a lot: started in Deep River CT, then Stamford CT. Valrico FL was next then Ireland for senior year. College was in RI at URI, (those were the days) dipped down to Orlando FL to take a break, figure it out...got my butt kicked by 3 hurricanes and ran back to RI in time for snow??? Finished at URI and looked for a job. Couldn't find one in RI, so I move to NJ. What can I say, I move a lot. Jersey's fine (who would have thought I'd end up here?) Good Job, Good People, and I dont have to say "Do you want fries with that" I like to travel, road trip anyone? Hiking, politics, hot chocolate, and beer are essential. Trying to figure out photograpy, and balancing a checkbook. I appreciate my friends, and love my fam. "Roam abroad in the world, and take thy fill of its enjoyments before the day shall come when thou must quit it for good. " Saadi (1184 - 1291)

My Interests

Photography, Bowling, Reading, Hiking, Walking without falling down...

I'd like to meet:

Jason Varitek. Buddy Cianci. Prince William.

Music:

Yeah I like it, but as I am constantly reminded I don't know shit about it. I confess. Please don't hate me.

Movies:

I know only a little less about movies than music. Anyone want to go to the movies? Did recently see "Bourne Ultimatum" which I thought was good.

Television:

I really dig House, the Starter Wife, the Closer, and Grey's Anatomy. Starting to get into Dexter. It is a little dark, but somehow you can't stop watching.

Books:

New FAVORITE AUTHOR Luanne Rice. She has a ton of books out. She must have lived in NYC and RI at some point. Lots of her stories are set in the North East. Brilliant Writer.

Heroes:

Soldiers. Nice people. Army Wives.

Ode to Family Vacations

After 7 years of declining the invites, I felt I owed my Mom at least one family vacation, so here I am sitting in the hotel lobby avoiding going upstairs, but at least I am in Canada.  They real...
