About Me

I am a digital and moving image artist-filmmaker working with digital media in a diverse range of ways including experimental film, performance, documentary, animation and photography. I work across art and non-art contexts and I am a frequent collaborator with both other visual artists and artists from other disciplines.

- new video work " If The Stars Were Closer to The Earth" - video work in collaboration with experimental musicians Spidermonkey and Tribe of One - a re-presentation of The Ghosts Exist" installation, a collaboration with Glasgow band The Ghosts originally shown at South Square Gallery in July 06

the Saltaire Arts Festival in September.Current projects include a collaboration with experimental musician Tribe of One, and an ongoing personal film project.

I am also a practising community artist offering workshops in digital media and video.

My Interests

Books:

I read A Tale of Two Cities recently and it might just be the best book I've ever read. I was totally bowled over. Now I'm off to read the rest of Dickens' back catalogue. This could take some time.

Heroes:

The Flaming Lips for their sheer psychedelic brilliance humour and humanity. Seeing them live is akin to a religious experience. I'm not joking.
