He is the former lover of Herbert Garrison (before the latter had sex reassignment surgery); Garrison was an elementary school teacher whose sexual perversions are many and often bizarre in the extreme. Mr. Slave's catchphrase is "Jesus Christ" delivered in a quavering lisp.Mr. Slave first appeared in Season 6, in the episode "Death Camp of Tolerance". Mr. Garrison learns that he can sue the education board for a lot of money if he is fired for being gay, and does his best to ensure this happens. To this end he hires Mr. Slave as his classroom assistant. The lessons become increasingly sexual, culminating in Mr. Garrison inserting the class gerbil Lemmiwinks into Mr. Slave's anus.The episode spoofs Schindler's List when the South Park children are sent to what is essentially a concentration camp for what their parents see as their inability to accept their gay teacher. In reality they are traumatised at the increasingly deviant lessons Mr. Garrison is delivering.The other major strand in "Death Camp of Tolerance" is Lemmiwink's adventures within Mr. Slave, which take the form of a fantasy adventure deliberately designed to spoof a 1977 animated edition of The Hobbit. This theme is returned to in Season 8. During the episode "Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset", Mr. Slave traps Paris Hilton within his rectum, and she finds she also has to complete the quest.In the episode "Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina", Mr. Garrison gets a sex-change operation and becomes a woman, thus upsetting Mr. Slave. He is depressed that he was not even consulted on the sex-change, and, being gay, is no longer attracted to Mr. Garrison as a woman (a problem real-life couples are sometimes said to face). As a result, Mr. Slave and Mrs. Garrison have a fight, and Mr. Slave leaves. He later reappeared in the episode "Follow That Egg!", in which he married Big Gay Al.It is rumored that Mr. Slave is loosely based on a Independant Production company owner turned Professor at Keene State College named Lance Levesque.
