No matter what, I keep it crunk. I'm Lauren and I'm a freshman at The University of Findlay. I want straight A's, and I will get my straight A's in all 18 of my credit hours. I am a decadent intellectual snob. If you know me, you know what I mean. I like knowing that the world is my oyster. When I get out of school I plan on making fat cash. I'm not going to lie. I like money, and I plan on making alot of it. Not only do I like big paychecks, but I like big cars, big boats, big horses, and big boys. I dont think that being materialistic is a bad thing. I'm a laissez faire capitalist. I like stuff, and I currently own alot of stuff, but I want to one day own not only more stuff, but more expensive stuff. I'm probably going to give alot of money to Greenpeace. Im going to use the money I make to not only benefit myself, but to benefit others and the environment. I think that me giving them money will help save our planet(which by the way, is going to hell in an SUV, and the person driving it is too busy talking on a cell phone to notice)more than me being a poor environmental lawyer fighting against big companies who want to dump sewage in our bodies of water. I dont know about you, but I dont really dig the whole idea of drinking toxic waste.Im probably going to get into crimimal or corporate law, since they're really exciting and they make more than some other types of lawyers. I think environmental law, you know, saving alaska and the rainforests, would be really interesting, but lets be honest, theres often little or no money in it. I could never make it in environmental law because im a greenie and I don't support the companies who pay the big bucks to have a lawyer fight for them to drill for oil in alaska. One motto that I live by every day of my life is STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU STAND ON. Im glad Americans like our planet. Global warming, rain forest destruction, deterioration of our oceans: thats my recipe for fun. I love animals. Im the kind of person that will be driving down the street and see a cat and want to adopt it because i think its hungry and cold. I plan on rescuing homeless animals when I have my own house. Growing up, my dad always told me to take care of the little animals. They cant choose to have homes or be dumped, and I believe that as people we need to open our homes and hearts and give them good, loving homes. I am not only a big animal lover, but i really believe in the humane treatment of animals(they cant defend themselves). Im a big animal rights activist(member of PETA since 2002). I've been this way my entire life. Im a girly girl, however, and I enjoy running, tennis, horseback riding, skiing, sailing, camping, hiking, playing the paino, and reading. Id like to think that im relatively decent at the aformentioned activities. This year I plan on making the deans list, competing on the english equestrian team, and just soak up the college life. Here, I dont have a job, but back home I work at marathon with a bunch of mechanics that I love dearly. I love the spanish language, and Ive taken up through spanish 5 in high school. One day, when Im out of school and I have the ability to travel, Id like to go to Spain. I believe that everyone is beautiful, and that everyone has good in them even if you have to dig deeper to find it. I love people, and even If I have just met someone, I can talk to them as if Ive known them forever. I believe that the heart knows what the eyes do not see, and that the heart feels what the mind does not know. My family is the most important thing in my life. More often than not, I put my family before everything. Im very close with my parents. Actually, I am very close with the majority of my family. I really would be lost without them. Im serbian, and sometimes I think that this has alot to do with how family oriented I am. My family is huge. My mom is one of six and my dad is one of four. I love God, but I dont consider myself true to one denomination of christianity. My mom is Serbian Orthodox, and my dad is Protestant. I love that the place serbs get drunk and dance is in the church hall. Im very easygoing, except when it comes to stupid, bitchy girls, and stupid, asshole boys. Those are on the top of my "Ten things that make me want to gouge my eyes out" list. Stupidity is number one out of the many things that piss me off. I love my friends and family, and I love to go out and have a good time. Im a complete oxy moron. Im a recluse alot of the time. Dont be suprised if I dont want to hang out with you because I want to sit home and read a book. I love school and I love to learn, which in my case is a good thing, since I have 8 years of school ahead of me. Although I enjoy school, deadlines and grades make me so nervous I could puke. I put it all on myself, and I understand that its noones fault but my own, so its a good thing that my doctor put me on a nice, hefty dose of Wellbutrin. Im one of those people who believe that there is a time and place for everything, which results in the fact that I am often very serious, and sometimes I am just a complete goofball. Im exhuberant and bold, and I have no problem telling people how i feel and what I want. I believe in God, free will, the red sox, love, second chances, and friendship. Feel free to ask me anything ...........
