About Me

Real Name: Albert Hall
Since the days of my youth I have been performing for an audience. In the beginning it was as simple as going door to door and selling homemade concert tickets for a quarter to all the neighbors on my block for a solo singing performance to be held at my house that evening (much to my parents surprise).
Next up was guitar and the study of music theory and vocal training which led to numerous performances throughout high school. In fact the more I was on stage; the more I yearned to be on stage more often. After turning down college scholarships in favor of joining the work force and beginning my music endeavors, I spent the next eighteen years of my life pursuing a career in what I loved doing most... entertaining.
Since the glory days of the late eighties and early nineties, my original music has been heard and enjoyed by thousands all over North America, including the likes of eighties rock legends Firehouse and Slaughter, who asked for a copy of the material. As well as record companies like Rodell Records in Hollywood CA. who wrote We have judged you on a point system that considers the following: originality, content, technical ability and overall presentation. We feel that your song has commercial potential.
I have played many great venues over five states of the Midwest, and have been review by various publications; The Iguana News writes, this band is a regular rotation here because of their advantageous selection of tunes and high energy performance. The musicianship of this band with its strong vocals is top notch. The PITCH weekly writes, Put these guys on your must see list!
I have had my music played on Kansas City radio and even wrote the "theme/ring song" for professional Kick Boxer, Kevin Cloughley. I've also owned my own recording studio, my own production company, and continue to write songs still today. With over 150 recorded original songs, it should be obvious my passion hardly ends at simply just performing in front of an audience. Rather, a deeper passion exists in writing and creating what others love to hear. Further, my love for writing doesnt end with just music, through the years I have written several short stories, stage scripts, and even scripted, storyboarded, shot and edited (though never fully completed) my own short film.
Enter acting. Though never giving it much thought, I was convinced by friend Justin Zimmerman (who would later become my partner in the creation of the Musical Blades), to join him in writing a 25 minute comedy-renaissance skit that would be performed at a renaissance festivals throughout the midwest. After always being interested in sword play, and never having tried acting, or writing a comedy, I jumped at the challenge.
Since my start in acting, I have trained exhaustively in SAFD style staged combat, via Zimmerman, and even Oriental styled choreographed swordplay via external movie pre-production work. I continue to write and perform both scripts and music. And though now the majority of my music has taken a dramatic turn from rock & roll to comedy laden sea shanties, I continue doing what I love doing most, entertaining.

My Interests

Computer / Music / Acting / Writing / Performing / Singing / Filming / Film Editing / Stage Combat / Recording / Guitar / Motercycles. Though not necessarily in that order.

I'd like to meet:

The people that are smiling and laughing during our comedy show. The people that would dance and bang their heads at my old rock shows. Strangers that come up to me in mundane place, telling me they recognize me from a particular performance and enjoyed the show. These are the people I like meeting, and would like to continue meeting. Oh, and Jessica Simpson of course ;)
MySpace Layouts

Music:

Commercially saleable Rock/Hard Rock/Grunge (the stuff that is or could be heard on the radio). There's even a few country songs I don't mind. Also I'm a sucker for Pirate and Renaissance songs (this odd taste has only developed in the last 5 years or so).

Movies:

Fantasy and Period movies have always been my favorites. Movies like Pirates of the Carribean and Braveheart, and every other movie that resembles them. Even the not very good ones.

Television:

Not a big TV watcher. If I am watching the TV, I'm usually watching a DVD on it. Though I did watch Hercules and Xena a lot back when they were on. And I also try to catch any made for TV historical movies.

Books:

Fantasy books. Anything by R. A. Salvatore.

Heroes:

Though I do find myself envious of others (typically in the entertainment industry) at times, I would hardly consider them heroes. Hmm, If I had to choose heroes I would say it would be my parents.
