I would have liked to meet Mother Teresa and Martin Luther King, Jr. ...oh, and Steve Irwin(the crocodile hunter).. width="425" height="355" ..
right now, my faves are system of a down, red hot chilli peppers, black eyed peas, justin timberlake, the white stripes, sevendust, christina aiguilera, and soundgarden/chris. i also like anything that's fun to sing, inspiring, or has a great beat to it. i love r/b, but lately the lyrics are getting too nasty to listen to. i don't see the point in that.
SOME of my faves are the original matrix, office space, the punisher, the lord of the rings trilogy, the original jurassic park, batman begins, the last samarai, a few of the adam sandler movies and will ferrell movies, and titanic. i also love 80's classics like ferris beuler's day off, footloose, better off dead, breakfast club, dirty dancing, and 16 candles. oh, and almost any disney movie ;)
Old faves: Friends, DaveChappelle, O.C., Will+Grace, Home Improvement, Arrested Development, Fresh Prince, Roswell, Buffy, and the Cosby Show.New faves: Family Guy, VH1's I love the 80's, SpongeBob Squarepants, Fairly Odd Parents, House, N.C.I.S.
The Devinci Code and Tuesdays With Maurie. I'm still reading The Chronicles of Narnia (sooo good). Also, historical romance novels, which can actually be very educational, because they often are placed around true historical events and/or people ;)
My Abuela is a hero to me. She came here from Cuba when she was a grown woman with 5 kids. She left 4 sisters, 2 brothers, lots of nieces and nephews, and came here with her husband and 5 kids, where she didn't know anybody and didn't speak English. !She is one of the funniest people I know, and she has amazing dance skills! I also really admire Mother Teresa. She once said something like, 'Little acts of kindness make a big difference in our everyday lives.' I also really admire Martin Luther King, Jr. He was so brave to speak out and stand up for what he bleived in, no matter what others thought, and no matter the consequences. I think he made a really big difference in this world.
