Since I have a slightly addictive personality, my interests are a revolving door. My constants are traveling, painting w/clay medium, b/w photography, listening and dancing (sometimes privately) to music, laughing w/friends, being a kid again w/my daughter, anything crafty especially if it involves a blow torch, clothing design, yoga, scrabble, pool, climbing trees, cooking and baking, SCOTCH!, outdoor activities with friends and volunteering with the vol-n-seeds. I'll try anything at least once.

Let's just say that I LOVE movies. Anything directed by wes anderson, david lynch, jean-jacques annaud, alfred hitchcock, darren aronofsky, bernardo bertolucci, jim jarmusch, luc besson, pedro almodovar, tim burton, jean-luc godard, yasujiro ozu, alice guy-blache, krzysztof kieslowski, frederico fellini, akira kurosawa, atom egoyan, fritz lang, ang lee, wim wenders, hayao miyazaki, orson welles, cecil demille, matthew barney, jean cocteau, francis ford coppola, francois ozon, roman polanski, lars von trier, jane campion, frank capra, francois truffaut, luis bunuel, coen brothers, antonin artaud, billy wilder, to name a few...I'm also a closet sci-fi addict. oh I also love creepy asian horror flicks.
When I do watch it's a mulligan stew. But right now when I have time to sit down and if I'm not watching a movie, I will watch food network (Jamie Oliver is my fave), sci-fi channel, project runway (of course), travel channel (Anthony Bourdain-love him), Missing without a trace, L-Word, History channel and the rest really depends on what side of my brain is controlling my mood. Oh and battlestar gallactica is really addictive!
I'm constantly finding books that I want to devour, yet continuously reading at least 5 books at one time. Right now I'm into art books such as Egon Schiele and Andrew Wyeth (recommended by a close friend who's creativity I admire). Others- Photography-Cindy Sherman, WeeGee, Paul Himmel, Walker Evans and so on. Anything that has anything to do with the Beat movement (Kerouac, Jay DeFeo, Elaine de Kooning, Bukowski etc.). Anything McSweeney's puts out. I love Anais Nin and Dorothy Parker. My all-time fave book is The fountainhead and the Unbearable Lightness of Being. Much much more, but really do you want me to go on and on and on.....
My little girl who's not so little anymore...she keeps me young and playful and she amazes me every day. She's also the smartest and funniest person I know!
