Whoever came up with the phrase 'time heals everything' just so i can punch them in the face. It's possibly one of the most stupid things ever said. Time heals nothing, it just puts distance between the event and where you are now....time lets you forget....
Where to start...way too eclectic. At moment listening to alot of Blood Brothers, Torch, 36 Crazyfists, Jimmy Eat World, Lamb, Emiliana Torrini, Billie Holiday, ETID, AIM, Mindsnare, Tom Waits, Eskimo Joe, 18 Visions, Declan O'Rourke, Screwtop Detonators, My Chemical Romance, Motion City Soundtrack, Alkaline Trio, thrice, boysetsfire, underoath, refused, David Bowie, Blondie, UNKLE, Pixies, Coheed and Cambria, Sickofitall, Faith No More, Deftones, Atreyu, Das Oath, AC/DC..*whoop* oh, i have to..come on ... Brand New... Glassjaw, head automatica, J5, Ugly Duckling, Incubus...bit o' dashboard *ahem*, Killswitch Engage, Agnostic Front (so cool live!!), Hell is for Heroes (were they ever released outside the UK?), waterdown (eep...i loves i loves!!!), rise against, bedouin soundclash, arab strap, Amy Winehouse (yes! gobby cow! i loves it), Jed Whitey, Devil Wears Prada,Al Green i'm very confused. My favourite shows to watch have to be hardcore/metalcore..check the dancing...and bad swedish hair metal..never fails to make me laugh...best cure for depression...and the hairballs left behind at the end...amazing...incedently... i was told that if you create an algorithm in a music program, you can approximate any type of music...bach, bon jovi (gag), mozart...because they follow a certain pattern..the only type of music it is unable to create is punk...how cool is that?
Lost in Translation, Open Hearts, Donnie Darko, Blade, Shrek 1&2, Lost Boys, Virgin Suicides, Zoolander, Akira, Fightclub, Battle Royale etc etc...all depends on the mood really.
Its all about Dr Who and Primeval....and Top Gear.
One word... Discworld... worship the might that is the mind of Terry Pratchett. William Gibson...and the occasional (ok lots)really really bad and really really tacky romance novels... historical biographies...
Bill Hicks... i would be his willing subject for abuse.
