About Me

Hello, my name is Sara and I am a single Drum Stick. I enjoy being used as a pair to make funky beats and driving rhythms. I am made from hickory and I have a wooden tip! I sometimes think about getting a nylon tip.... but I just don't know!

My Interests

Because I have no 'limbs' I find most hobbies quite taxing - I do enjoy floating around in a pool, sunbathing, reading and head-butting drums!

I'd like to meet:

A drum stick can never have too many friends. I want to show MySpace that it's not only bands and famous people that can be popular! So I'd like to meet bands, musicians, fellow instruments and of course other drum sticks!

Pop, Skiffle, Jazz, Rock, Folk, Metal.

Spinal Tap, The Kids Are Alright.

Television:

The Muppets - I just love watching Animal drum!

Length and Weight - Anatomy of a drumstick.

Almost all sticks are longer than 385mm (15.1") and shorter than 415mm (16.3"), and that's it! Using longer sticks when your arms are short or the other way round, won't help much. Making longer stic...
