My passion is taking photos. Everywhere I go, my lovely Canon 40D is riding shotgun and/or attached to my hip. I put love in each and every photo that I take. I like photos that tell a story, and I like to think that my photos do exactly that. I'm fun, and I've been told that it shows through my photography. If we go on a photo shoot, I'm pretty darn positive that we all will have one AWESOME time. My camera makes me so happy. It's my boyfriend.However, I often feel that people see my camera and think that it does all the work for me, but sweety that ain't the case. I don't think it matters what kind of camera you use, even a disposable one, it's all a matter of vision and natural talent (in my opinion) Sure, having a nice camera is awesome and great quality is born from that, but don't give my fancy camera all the credit kids.I love Annie Leibovitz. She's my hero. I also dig Mr. Warhol and Sally Mann too.
Most of the stuff I have up now is band photography, but it's not my favorite. I like all photography equally. well..maybe I lied...I guess it is my favorite.I'm trying to get started up with rock photography because I want to devote a part of my life to it. You will see me a lot at local shows because I dig the music and I dig the way it expands my portfolio!
I feel like my photos tell a story, and that's the way I like it, and I plan on keeping things that way. I've been told this by many people, and I hope you view my work in the same light. This means the world to me. I want to help change the world with my photography. I want to produce art that gives back.
