In my spare time I looooove to read, watch movies, hang out with my family and friends (eating---what we do best). I currently am trying to train for another half marathon. I need to do something to get myself into shape.
I am also interested in living and working overseas in the distant future, so I am polishing up on my French, Spanish, and Vietnamese. It'll all come in handy someday.
As you can tell, I love to travel and would love a job where I can see more of the world. I believe the world is much too beautiful and grand for us to be content living in the same place forever.

Music:
I love all kinds of music from alternative, hip-hop, pop, cheesy 80's ballads, and even country western. As long as there's a great melody and inspiring lyrics, I'm into it.
Some of my favorite artists: Erasure, Matchbox 20, Dashboard Confessional, Maroon 5, Jewel, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, George Strait, Brooks and Dunn, Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Fallout Boys, The Killers, Nickelback, Simply Red, and the list could go on and on. I am currently listening to songs on the radio by Sean Paul, Nelly Furtado, Rhianna, Cassie, Dierks Bentley, Keith Anderson...I know, I know. I have very ecletic taste in music.
Movies:
When Harry Met Sally, the LOTR Trilogy, Forrest Gump, The Sound of Music, The 6th Sense, Anh Hung Xa Dieu or Legend of the Condor Heroes (a TVB series produced in Hong Kong back in the golden 80's era), My Sassy Girl (a hilarious Korean romantic comedy),My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I also love thrillers and sci-fi, but I absolutely detest dumbed-down movies with no plot or wit.
Television:
"Smallville," "The Amazing Race," and "Lost." Back when they were on, I adored "Friends" and "Sex and the City." Oh, Aidan.
Now we don't have cable, but I do enjoy "The Closer," "Monk," "What Not to Wear," and "Clean Sweep." I absolutely loooove "Law and Order" (the original series, CI, and SVU, and I think "CSI" is good too. It's a good thing that we don't have cable or my butt would be glued to the tv watching useless shows instead of enriching my brain. Haha.
Books:
Oh so, so many. Let's see, a quick list for now: The Kite Runner, the Harry Potter series, Gone with the Wind, The Sherlock Homes Collection, anything by Agatha Christie. As well as most novels by Michael Crichton, Mary Higgins Clark, Philip Margolin, Amy Tan, and Elizabeth Peters. I also love rereading old classic literature books. They mean so much more to me now that I can read them at my leisure. I can't wait to build my dream house someday with a huge reading room with nothing but rows and rows of my books and soft comfy sofas to lie on.
