I live in Ireland, the North part and have done so for nearly 30 years. I have however lived abroad in the states and carribean. I'm easy going and get on with most people as long as they enjoy the craic'. I be on the t'internet too often, mostly nioldskool where I talk about my passion which is hard trance and djing. I work in the Pest Control Industry fighting for truth, justice and the healthier lifestyle. Grew up in a loving family with a big family circle, loadsa cousins, aunts and uncles...rite and close too. I've always been known to be layed back and not worry too much about certain things, unless I really have to and it will affect. DaMuff’s BioDaMuff has been an integral part of the growing dance scene in Omagh, birthplace of Concept-Ireland since 1997 when he first did some guest spots in Concept, a night ran at the time by Resident dj Colin Bass who was also a resident in Frankie’s and The Point Inn Donegal. He made such an impression with his warm-up sets that he was back week after week to chug out the trance tunes for his local followers. In 1998 another club opened up in Omagh called Gothic and Damuff again got the chance to do some warm-up sets alongside resident Mal Black and up and coming female starlet Mandy Reid who both went on to become residents in the Met arena in Armagh, and also play alongside internationally recognised dj’s such as Mark Luvdup. In 1999 Damuff got the opportunity to go and work on the the idyllic island of Grand Cayman in the Caribbean, where for two years he got the chance to show off his skills in front of a more international crowd playing some banging Trance while making some aquanticies with two resident dj’s from Canada and Israel who also gave him the chance of guesting on live radio on their weekly dance show. Damuff returned to these shores in 2001 and got a few guest spots with local promotional outfit lostdaplot and he got to guest for a few nights in local club Tingles alongside other local lads Andy K, Monty and Nugie. But since the birth of www.nioldskool.co.ok his passion for dance music was at a high and set about running a few nights, the first of which was in Concept with Deejay Storm and LED in September 2005 and the second one in Top of the Town with one of his all time hero’s xray. 2006 has been a great year for Damuff when in April he was asked to be resident in LED’s new monthly slot in Concept where it all started back 1997. This year to date Damuff has also played Sundance alongside some of Irelands top and up and coming dj’s and played back 2 back in Strabane with another of his hero’s sci. He also played at the massive 5 arena , 28 dj’s Fresh Underground Indoor Festival in August and in October he played at M.O.A.R. with some of the biggest oldskool names from the past decade like Trix, Paddy Frazer, Dilly, Sequel and The Dream Frequency. In January came probably the biggest gig to date where DaMuff was on the same bill as the No.6 dj in the world Ferry Corsten . With 2007 just beginning and the birth of Trancedigital….the future looks bright !!
