Pharmacology and neurology. Music. Pyrotechnics. Sex. Drugs. Violence. All manor of weirdness.
The one, the only, GIBBONCHRIST!
Anything with a great beat and a strong bassline.Technical metal like Mudvayne and Tool. Simpler metal like Slayer and Slipknot. Faster metal like Berzerker and Pig Destroyer. Electronic metal like Fear Factory and Static X. Hardcore and Gabba like Angerfist and Tommyknocker. I also like Nirvana, Battles and most dubstep/drum n bass I hear.
I'll watch pretty much any film and, as such, have seen shitloads. Most of them were crap.I like Taxi Driver, Usual Suspects, Alien Quadrilogy and anything crime/horror based.
I used to watch TV whenever I wasn't doing something important, and sometimes instead of doing something important, but I don't watch any now as I don't have a TV licence (probably a good thing).
I don't read books recreationally (they can make you go insane!) but I have tried them a couple of times before at a party. I read Demon Seed by Dean Koontz and that was mint. The White Road by someone Connolly was good too but I don't think I'll do it again because books are really bad for you.
Ryan Martinnie is probably the closest thing to a hero I have. He's the bassist in Mudvayne and the reason I decided to play. He was the first proper bassist I'd heard (not one of these repetative wankers you hear in shitty pop-rock arse-mothed excuse for a band like "I love to shit into a pint glass, mix it with festering menstrual blood and drink it Cold(play)"
