Here's the update, people! I am leaving NYC at the end of March. I'm tired of the city livin'. I'm a tropical island girl - born & raised. Originally I was going to go back home to the LBC but I got a little detoured by the most wonderful man that I met. :) It happens. So, I'll be in Park City, UT for an unknown amount of time. Hopefully just a year or two (see above re. tropical islands). We are engaged and planning to tie the knot the summer of 2008. Other news...we have found out we are going to be parents. :o) Planned? No. Welcomed surprise? Yes.So right now just getting through the morning sickness, working from home and trying to enjoy this beautiful ski town. I'm going home soon so I can get my fix of some girfriend time.Fashion designer by day...music listenin' (preferably live, and preferably jazz but I'm not too choosy), book reading, fabulous cook by night. I miss my friend's back home but we are TOO good at keeping in touch for me to be too homesick - although as of late I could definitely do a better job of it. Love anything to do with the ocean and just wrapped up another season of outrigger paddling. I laugh at everything, I somehow have got the uncanny knack at making things lighthearted and funny...give you something to smile about through your tears and frustration. I've gotten better and better at this over the past few years. I am happy. Happy in everything in my life. Don't get me wrong, I'm working everyday to make new and better things happen - but in the grand scheme of it all I'm HAPPY!To all my friends back home and around the world that I've encountered over my many years of travelling - I love and miss you very much!
