..I've been spinning for 20 years now...wow...time certainly flies when you're having fun! Before that, I was a very angry drummer in an original rock band called Fistful of Rumors. Before that, I can remember trying to mix together cassette tapes (well at least I didn't say 8 tracks) and before that I was playing the uke with my grandfather. I've always surrounded myself with music, all kinds. I have always loved dance music...especially tribal. When I began my DJ career, I was fascinated with mixing vinyl. I loved finding perfect mixes and I'd try to keep them going as long as possible. Back then it was stuff like Soul 2 Soul- Keep on Movin, En Vogue-Hold on, Company B- Facsinated, Janet Jackson- What Have You Done For Me Lately etc.It was an easy transition from drummer to DJ and I haven't looked back. I love the energy and the euphoria that dance music can create. I've never done drugs but I certainly get high off of the music. Dance music is and continues to be my drug of choice. I can't get enough! I'm always searching for new tracks. Always on the look out for that next big one.Producing and remixing are huge passions of mine. I go to my studio at least 3 times a week...unless I have a remix project...then I'm there day and night. It's an incredible feeling of accomplishment to complete a track and when I play it out, I get high all over again. My first track was signed to Nervous Records in 1994...I think. It was called The Music. My second was Mommy Dearest- which was a big success in my hometown. I still get requests for it. Then I did a lot of experimental mixes...to try to find and develop my sound...but it wasen't until just recently that I have been content with my work. I completed a 2006 remix of Madonna's Frozen for our Winter Party that got plays from Chris Cox, Junior Vasquez, Mike Cruz, Eddie X and Glenn Friscia. [It's not for sale but I'll be happy to send anyone a copy!] My Temptation remix was on Junior's Satellite Radio Play list, and Chris Cox has featured my remix of Ciara- Get up on his XM Mix Show. I've completed a remix for The Perry Twins feat Jania called Activate My Body. It is currently at #3 on the Billboard Dance Chart! I've completed remixes for Ronen Mizrahi, Edson Pride, Randy Friess, Stevie Jewel and Gioia which are scheduled for release over the next few months.
