I'm not much of a music buff, but I know what I like. The couple of artists that spend the most time in my player are: Gorillaz, DJ Krush, RJD2, and The Roots. There's a ton more that I like, but it's probably all been covered on someone else's page.

I mostly read modern fiction, of which my favorite ever has got to be Shogun. I'm actually re-reading it right now! I also have really enjoyed all of Amy Tan's books and just finished Monkey King, by Patricia Chao the other day. It was good. I'm also reading both Freakenomics and From Good to Great (a business book) right now.
As far as the types of books I don’t care for: cheesy adventure. This would definitely include The Da Vinchi Code. Yea, I read it and yea, it was WAY overrated. If I wanted corny adventure-mystery sprinkled with horrible dialogue, I’d read The Hardy Boys.
