Established in 1995 by guitarist, Ritchie Wilkison and vocalist, Don Saint-Thomas , this band has enjoyed much success around the wid-west region as well as across the nation with non-stop touring from 1995-1998. SIMONBARRSINISTER released "Unmastered" on Surf Records in 1997. The bands self produced version of Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald quickly became the most requested song at Rock 104 (Ft. Wayne,IN) for three staight weeks earning full rotation spots, as well as an opening spot on the mainstage of Verizon Wireless Ampitheater(then called "Deer Creek Music Center) in Noblesville, IN.In early 1998, the band took to Hollywood,CA to record their next effort. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Barry Connely at Paramount studios. The SIMONBARRSINISTER recording process was completed in just 14 days! The band then embarked on a six week 38 city tour with metal legends MERCYFUL FATE that included a headlining spot on the Rave Stage @ Millwaukee Metal-Fest.A split in '98 sent Saint on a 2 year stint touring with and fronting for long-time friends, GUNMETAL BLUE, and recorded and released "For What It's Worth" in '01. Wilkison used this time to tour Europe with the like of Euro-Metal icons, DEMONS & WIZARDS, and later joining German-based ANGELDUST, where he co-wrote and recorded the highly successful "Of Human Bondage". 2005 saw the return of SBS performing two powerful shows with ERIC SINGER (KISS/ALICE COOPER)& FRIENDS to benefit victoms of Hurrricane Katrina.
