Octavion Xcellence
Hes Young, hes flashy, and hes confident. Born Robert Markum, Octavion Xcellence or R Infamy as some people would call him, has his dreams set on a bigger picture for his life. Growing up in multiple places in the us, including Maryland, Florida, Georgia, California and Virginia, the New York native believes in carrying on the art of rapping until he cannot rap any more.
When people first here his name they think..."what did you say?" and "what does that mean." If you asked him that, he would simply reply "Octavion is the rap style, and Xcellence is the delivery." He is the only one who could come up with such a unique and original name. "Everyone was calling themseleves Young whatever, and Lil something so figured i had to come up with something original original not anything just thrown together. I went threw many nick names and rap names before i actually got to one that i thought suited me." Ever since the age of 12 he has had the big dream of being music bound.
Much like everyone else in this day and age he felt that he was destined for the lime light. He believed that there was a place for him somewhere in the rap world. He was heavly influenced not by major artists in rap but the actual indie and independant artists. His urge to leap for the music didnt happen until he saw close friend Artik Phreeze and So Heated Records do a show at a near by teen club in Emporia VA. From that moment on he decided if they could do it, then he could do it, and would not stop until he felt he reached his peak.
Xcellence felt that not only rap or hip hop was in his veins but the shear art of making music was in his soul. He was always caught making beats, mixing and mastering, or engineering a recording session with his buddies in his mothers house in Freeman VA. Music is without a doubt in his body and he demonstrates an example everytime his vocals hit the beat. Its just not a job to Octavion, its an obsession, its a worth ethic and its a lifestyle.
Now its 2007. He has his own label alongside his friend Daniel Capotosco aka Capoe. He is the leader of The Drama Team (Octavion X, FAIR, Yung Ram), and has multiple other venutres on his plate. The family extended when C-4 of ACES Clik recruited him and his squad into the newly formed group head by Loaded Lux out of Harlem NY, The ACES Clik.You will have to def keep it locked to see more on this artist aswell as the new artists he brings along for the ride.
