Boston-George - Born in New England & raised in the South, BG brings various styles to the table through his lyrics which makes him an extremely versatile lyricist. BG was introduced to music at a very young age. He began his musical venture by playing instruments such as the guitar, keyboard, saxophone, and percussion instruments. His love for music grew as he did.
Influenced by the sounds of KRS-One, Tribe Called Quest, RUN-DMC, The Roots, Beastie Boys, Outkast, Mobb Deep, Blackstar, NAS, 2Pac, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Notorious B.I.G., Common, Dr.Dre, Jay Z, Twista, 3-6 Mafia, and many others, BG has developed a unique style full of variety. BG has always listened to & respected all genres of music. He feels you can learn more about whats inside yourself through music. Moving to Richmond,VA at the age of 16 gave BG even more musical background. Getting in with the scene there he began to spin records and mix Breaks, Drum & Bass, and Hip-Hop. BG moved to Orlando, FL when he was 18. He immediately got back into the music scene. BG began recording to Drum & Bass music with DJ Crucial from the UK. This helped him to develop his fast lyrical skills,similar to those of "Twista." He then teamed up with Reggae Artists, Platinum Rush to give yet another twist to the type of music BG can flow with.
He has began working with M.o.L. Ent. (Miami's on Lock Ent.) With Producer/MC "Mike Black" & CEO/Producer "Maurice Divar," BG has begun working on his Album & Mixtape which should be released in 2008. Begining with his Reggaeton Hit " Doce de la Noche," which again adds another style to really round off this MC. After working with M.o.L. BG began networking himself and linked up with Gravity (G.BEATS) of the Sound Scientists. Boston-George then began working on building his own company NVUS ENT. & DESIGNS with his new found partner G.BEATS. The NVUS Movement is in Full Force now, with the NVUS SKATE TEAM, NVUS CLOTHING, & NVUS SKATEBOARDS. NVUS ENT. has been throwing Local Events throughout SW FL since the Summer of 2008 and will continue to do so. "Its all about Family Round Here!" says BG. NVUS ENT. & The NVUS FAMILY will be continuing to perform at various shows and clubs so keep checkin in to find out where they will be next.
