...Gold Coast singer songwriter, Arielle, has been performing with a band and as a solo artist since the age of 14. Her songs reflect on relationships, life and her love of the Australian coastal lifestyle, her style is a blend of alternative folk/pop/rock.Arielle was given her first acoustic guitar for her sixth birthday but it wasnt till she turned fourteen that she began writing and performing her own music. After highschool Arielle moved from Bundaberg, to the Gold Coast, where she formed her own band. Arielle Spratt has performed at venues throughout the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Melbourne, South Australia and New Zealand, played at The Big Day Out on the Gold Coast and supported artists such as Mark Seymour (Hunters & Collectors), Sarah McLeod (The SuperJesus), Late Nite Access, Space Like Alice, Soulframe and Casey Barnes. Arielle's first independent release was 'Find Me' in 2004. This acoustic five track EP includes California which has been played on radio stations such as Triple J and Triple R.
Arielle is currently in the process of mixing her new album so keep an ear out for the edgier, electric sound...
