Two Heads On !

Fred Flower and Antoine Germain basically have the same musical intend : to fluently combine bits of electro, break beat, trip hop and jazz. From the beginning they have been blending their acoustic and technological skills. They most enjoy to perform, sample, cut, filter and modulate. With no limit they pick and recycle any noise, any instrument's sound to nourish samplers with string instrumental music, brass, ethnic percussions and industrial soundsStill, the intimacy of a real performance's artist is crucial to them. Therefore Frederic and Antoine requested skilled musicians for recordings to deepen and to enrich their project :jazz vocalist Christine Clement , Larenka Hoareau, a classical opera singer, a trumpet player : David Dupuis, a violonist : Gregory Jonquet, a cellist : Catherine Vandamme and a double bass player : Pierre Fenichel.According to Fred and Antoine, musical balance is as natural as the balance between natural elements is. "What is interesting about Marseille is the intrication of natural and urban elements, that is what Two Heads On ! is about: technology and organic."So far the group has been concentrating on studio recording and programming. Yet they are mostly willing and wishing to play their work live in a multidisciplinary performance.
