I like all that R&B crap these days. David Bowie is always good, as is Pink Floyd. Roger Waters (from Pink Floyd) is also amazing. Eagles, Dire Straits, Bruce Springsteen, Duran Duran (God, I can’t believe I’m admitting that one), Coldplay, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and anything from the 80’s (historians maintain that 80’s music will go down forever as the greatest decade of music ever, and that’s a scientific fact!). I’ve got quite an ecliptic music taste as you can see, I’ll give anything a try (except Chris Watson playing that fucking guitar!). The Ricky Gervais Pod cast is one of the funniest things you’ll ever hear. I know it’s not really music but you do listen to it, so in my book it counts.
Anything with Al Pacino. The Godfather was my favourite, that was until I saw a little movie called Anchorman: The legend of Ron Burgundy. The only thing that could have made that movie any better was if Al Pacino was in it. Not sure where he would exactly fit into it all, maybe Rons dad or something, but who cares. Old School, 40 Year Old Virgin (based somewhat on me), Dodgeball . Well you can see where Im going with this. All great movies. Team America (fuck yeah), Goodfellas, Jaws (1 and a bit of 2 but not 3 or 4), Star Wars, Aliens (1,2, bit of 3 but not 4).
Family Guy is the greatest show since the Simpson which was the greatest thing since sliced bread (prior to sliced bred I believe it was Chuck Norris). Who ever decided to cancel Family Guy should be taken out back and shot. I also like West Wing, Lost, the Office and Extras. I think Larry David from Curb Your Enthusiasm is one of the funniest men alive, he wrote the fantastic Seinfeld and if you havent seen Curb Your Enthusiasm then you should. Its pretty, pretty, pretty good (you need to have seen it to understand that bit).
Anything by Michael Moore, Leadership by Guliani, The Forty Year War, Lend Me Your Ears, White Elephants and Red Herrings and pretty much anything factual. And yes, because I read and you don’t that does make me better than you!
