About Me

The idea of putting Trip Fontaine together as a band was born a couple of years ago in Chicago but the real creation of the band waited for the two founding members to be together again. Max lived and played music in Chicago at that time while Karzi was doing the same in Prague. The strong desire of the two separated twin brothers to be back together and realize their mutual dreams of doing music as one again brought them back together in Prague, Czech Republic in 2005. Max and Karzi have functioned in a wide variety of bands in both Prague and Chicago over the past decade. Trip Fontaines sound is a logic reflection of a modern music scene always stretching its sounds to new unmapped frontiers mixing electronica, noise guitars, and new experimental ways of composing music. Trip Fontaine is not just about their music its a complex art entity to nourish all of human senses. Trip Fontaine is going to be recording their debut album named WE SING IN CODES this Fall. Rough mixes of their songs that will be featured on the album can be heard at www.myspace.com/tripfontaineband

Sounds Like: Where down the road did we forget? How could we think we’d never think of it again? Where is the last curve we go through? The last stretch of hope and enticing expectations. Why do we think that it’ll be all better afterwards? We lose the only meaning that is our own. We give up foggy future for one clear present moment. It’s not a gift, it’s a mere conclusion of our actions. It’s the story of our past unveiling. It’s our daily bread. Where is the strength that once moved the mountains? Where are the butterflies that lived in our bellies? Where is the smile we drew in thinking of tomorrow? When did we leave the crayons? I live at nights so I don’t pass up on my dreams. I sleep during the days so I don’t become a part in someone else’s reality. It’s all perfect in my world; my love is always there. I paint all the pictures and boy are they beautiful! I go wherever I feel I do whatever I imagine. Why not? I am its beginning, its end, and after all its sole inhabitant.
