It's obvious that something is wrong with the way things are. Your food is full of chemicals and radiation, your eyes are weak from staring at TV screens, and your mind is weak from the lies and fear that those screens dump into your soul. Twenty-four hour news stations compete for ratings by stretching stories into five day ordeals. The United States government has you by the balls. Philadelphia has begun implementing stop and frisk policies that break the 4th Amendment, DC has a no handgun rule that shits on the 2nd amendment, not to mention their taxation without representation. You live in a prison without bars and the walls are closing in everyday. The elections are rigged, the candidates are robots, and all the money is in very few pockets. People are dying on the street all over the world, people just like you. Things are so fucked that even the Earth is dying. Food, clothing, and shelter are free. You can build a house, you can hunt/grow food, and you can make your clothing from nature. When did being a slave for 40-80 hours a week begin to have anything to do with keeping a roof over your head? It's the new feudalism. Boxes come home from Iraq in record numbers, filled with the remains of children who died so people could build pipelines, McDonald's, and military bases in the Middle East. The TV is full of spinach ecoli, Brittney watch, and other flashing lights and shiny objects to keep you distracted from the real threats going on behind the scenes. The crime rate is up because people have no money and they use the news to make you so scared you'll want to vote for police on every corner and microchips in every arm.
Read, Write, Love, Sing, Scream, Dream, and Take Back What's Yours. There is only strength in numbers and fortunately that is all that we have. Don't buy anything you don't need, don't work a day at your job that you don't have to. Don't vote, don't pay taxes, don't pay back your loans, and don't let anyone you know enter the armed forces. Remind them that they need us more than we need them. Realize your full potential as a human, don't let them tie you into the same hell they tied your parents into. Turn on, tune in, and drop out.

Joe Vento is a racist, he'll never get another dollar from me. South Philly is better than Joe Vento and that's all the rest of the world ever sees from us: some dickhead on 9th and Passyunk complaining in terrible grammar and English about people not ordering in English. Fuck him in the ear.

Television:

Television is there to poison your mind...turn it off
We wanted to blast the world free of history.... picture yourself planting radishes and seed potatoes on the fifteenth green of a forgotten golf course. You'll hunt elk through the damp canyon forests around the ruins of Rockefeller Center, and dig clams next to the skeleton of the Space Needle leaning at a forty-five degree angle. We'll paint the skyscrapers with huge totem faces and goblin tikis, and every evening what's left of mankind will retreat to empty zoos and lock itself in cages as protection against the bears and big cats and wolves that pace and watch us from outside the cage bars at night. "Imagine," Tyler said, "stalking elk past department store windows and stinking racks of beautiful rotting dresses and tuxedos on hangers; you'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life, and you'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Tower. Jack and the beanstalk, you'll climb up through the dripping forest canopy and the air will be so clean you'll see tiny figures pounding corn and laying strips of venison to dry in the empty car pool lane of an abandoned superhighway stretching eight-lanes-wide and August-hot for a thousand miles." ~Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club, Chapter 16

The discovery of the relationship of geometry and mathematics to music is attributed to Pythagoras, who found that a string stopped halfway along its length produced an octave, while a ratio of 3/2 produced a fifth interval and 4/3 produced a fourth. Pythagorians believed that this gave music powers of healing, as it could "harmonize" the out-of-balance body.
