Work, basketball, darts, bowling, music, golf, softball, economics, reading, aggravating the hell out of Melissa.
Ten people to invite to dinner: Thomas Jefferson, JFK, Ben Franklin, Adam Smith, Walter Williams, Nelson DeMille, Patrick Henry, Ronald Reagan, John Linder, and Ayn Rand.
Linkin’ Park, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Harry Connick, Jr., Blues Traveler, Bela Fleck, Victor Wooten, Johnny Cash, Ben Folds Five, Buddy Rich, Frank Sinatra, Jimmy Buffet, Live, Brooks and Dunn, Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Rob Zombie, Eminem, Ludacris, Alice in Chains, and Barenaked Ladies- I am tied of listing them; you get the idea.
Comedies- Mel Brooks is quite possibly the funniest man ever; followed closely by Kevin Smith. I also like Harold Ramis’ stuff. The Christmas Story is CLASSIC. Ryan Reynolds is a very underrated comedic actor; really, I enjoy anything funny. On the more serious side, I enjoy well done trilogies; The Godfather, Die Hard, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones. However, a series that goes longer can be good as well: Rambo, Rocky, Batman.
The TiVo list: Family Guy*, The Simpsons, American Dad, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, House*, Boston Legal*, CSI: Your backyard, Shark, The Office*, My Name is Earl, Jim Rome is Burning, Around the Horn, PTI, NCIS, Bones, and Robot Chicken**- Most of those shows are not important, but the asterisks are a MUST
Ayn Rand, Nelson DeMille, James Patterson; economics or history
Outside of the dinner party; there is the one, the only, Tim Minster
