About Me

My site looks totally cool now...thanks to my great ex-neighbors from copperfield =)....boy were those Houston suburbs something else...I could swear I lived in the pre-quel to Desperate Housewives..just kidding...they were all wonderful =). Well...I don't know where to begin. I was born in the Philippines and grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma. I've got a younger sister who has two great kids which I love to hear stories about. I love life and what it has to offer. I would have never guessed that I would be living in Manhattan while working for an Energy Company. I owe 1/3 of my success to my great parents and sister, 1/6 to my professors....and the other 1/2 to me...just kidding.=) [for those of you that were never good at fractions like myself....1/6 plus 1/3 = 1/2] =p..... I hope this website brings together some of my long lost friends that I've met along the way...so if you happen to see this blog...be sure to leave me a message!!! Or heck...drop by my apartment in Manhattan. BTW....I don't know if you know this...but I am a movie Karaoke star, and well known overseas....so do some searching and you might find one of my old videos...shhh..it's a secret. For those of you that want to know what I've been doing the past 15 years since high school...well I went to College at THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA and received a degree in Chemical Engineering...which I sometimes wonder what would have happened if I went to med-school as originally planned...hmm?? one can always wonder??.....upon graduation, I was hired by Conoco and placed in this god forsaken town called San Angelo, Texas as a project engineer. There I met some of my best friends to whom I still keep in touch with today =).....worked there for about 2 years and then worked in Laredo and Corpus Christi for 6 months. I quit Conoco where I wasn't having any fun and went to work for Phillips Petroleum back in OKC for a year and half and then went back to B-school at OU. I thought B-school was going to be my way out of the "awl bidness"...as they say in the south. So I interned for Citigroup in London as an investment banker....boy was that summer a blur! I made lots of money but worked about 12-17 hour days and decided the "awl bidness" wasn't soo bad after all =). Graduated from B-School and went back to work for Phillips 66....funny thing happened though...Phillips and Conoco merged to form ConocoPhillips...lucky me. Worked in Bartlesville, OK..for about 5 months and then they moved me to Houston for about 2.5 years. I had the best job assignment in the world...I would have never thought working could be soo much fun. The company then thought a great place for my next assignment would be in NYC, so they sent me to Manhattan in June of 2005, and I've enjoyed every NY minute =). Well...let me know what you've been up to since we last met...I'd love to catch up.How do you like my dream ride?
