About Me

I married my best friend James in April of this year. After a few years of trying to figure it all out- my stint at Georgia Southern and James' in the Nat'l Guard- cupid decided in 2003 it was time for us to be more than friends. We both have since finished school and now miraculously resemble adults- surprising to us! We are renovating our first home in the suburb of Atlanta where we grew up. I love my job in International HR while James, too, contends that he has the best job in the world. We have 2 dogs - a 10 lb. dachshund and a 100 lb. lab. I couldn't have fathomed myself here 10, 5, 2 years ago... and I'm looking forward to what's next!

Movies:

Pulp Fiction, Dogma, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, the Big Lebowski, Big Fish, Goodfellas, The Godfather I & II, Catch me if you Can, your typical rise and fall movies (Blow, Scarface etc) historically accurate films and movies that make me think. I really prefer active outdoor entertainment so I rarely see movies... please don't depend on my movie knowledge for trivia because it sucks.

Television:

I'm surrounded by it at work, so only on occasion at home. Family Guy usually warrants an occasion.

Heroes:

my grandfather JD Kirk, my husband, Clark Howard, Rick Steves, Neal Boortz, Conan O'Brien

My favorite color is red

and that's a damn good thing.  Because pink or certain shades of yellow would have made me bang my head up against a freshly painted wall this weekend.  Painting, yes again!  I spe...
