About Me

I’m kind, sweet and a good person 3 days out of the week. LOL! I thank God for a beautiful family and wonderful kids and a great husband. My passion is people; I like to help others, as much as they want to be helped. God has given me a gift of decrement that I pray he continue to guide and work through me to help others with good sound council. I also want to take a few classes in professional make-up application, so if anyone knows where I can go, let a sista know.

My Interests

Travel, Travel and more Travel!! Love that the kids are getting older. Soon we’ll all be able to scuba dive.I enjoy Salsa dancing; it keeps the pounds off.I enjoy singing, in church, in the car, in the shower, in public and private… lol.. I look forward to Christmas EVERY year, just to sing Christmas carols. I’m currently looking into completing a screen play with my main man.Very excited about writing; there’s not limits in writing. You have no boundaries…. Love it!

I'd like to meet:

I’m looking forward to meeting The Lord, God of all creation. I plan to be called to meet him in the when he returns.However, while on earth, I plan meet Denzel Washington and the Rock. I really would also like to meet Mel Gibson. I’m sure I’ll meet Denzel this year. I’m also looking forward to shaking hands with our next President Obama and his girl Oparh.

Music:

Nancy Wilson, first and foremost, I have to give my Aunt her props! Love Beyonce, she is the bomb. Total package, brains, beauty, successful, kind and warm spirited. My Men of God; Love Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklyn, Tonex and John P Kee!! Awesome and powerful music. I also adore Ne-Yo. Love his CD. He’s crazy talented… Regardless of music, it if has a message, crazy beat or just uplifting. I’m all over it.

Movies:

I’m a BIG special effects girl. Transformers, 300, Cloverfield, Blade…. All these plus hundreds more! I just started watching Tyler Perry’s movies and plays.. This man is crazy talented and blessed of God. Drama, Why Did I Get Married was great, but I was able to see the play as well and that was wonderful as well. Romance; my favorite movie of all times Somewhere in Time starting Christopher Reeves. Delightful movie and I encourage you to watch it.. Very interesting and loving plot. Suspense; Kiss the Girls, and so many others.. I’ll add them this week

Television:

I know I need help, because I still love Grey and ER. I need to still watch the old episodes, but that’s what internet is for. I’m am a bit hooked on the reality shows.. Darn you!

Books:

I enjoy Joyce Meyers, she’s so blessed and has tons of wisdom to share. I bought a few of her books just recently. In Pursuit of Peace, Starting your day right, Ending your day right. Very powerful words. Looking to read this one with my man. Five Love Languages is a very moving book. Good for couples, friends and any family member. We all love differently, including our children….. read this book.The Four Agreements was a good book too. Towards the end, It ventured off into some other sprit world, which didn’t settle with me, but as my Dad always told me, take the meat off the bone and leave the bone on the plate. Take what you can learn from and leave the other words in the book.

Heroes:

My Mother was amazing! Always so very pleasant and a God fearing woman. A Blessed woman indeed. I pray to be more like her everyday.
