rock and roll means well but it can't help telling young boys lies

About Me

i threw a lot of baseballs between the years 1980 and 1994. i built the house that my wife (jessie), dog (coconut) and i live in - with the help of my dad, stu sturgis (fine guitarist/songwriter for Unteen), jessie, and rick nivens (former owner of springfield's all-time best record store - the mad platter). i tend to make decisions very impulsively and change my mind quite frequently. i'm kinda shy when sober and obnoxious when i'm not. i put my foot/keyboard in my mouth on a semi-daily basis.

My Interests

music, guitars, carpentry/building/woodworking, politics, aerobics classes, reading.

Tread Lightly - Dangerous Serpents Are Afoot

We live on a bluff above the Finley River in "downtown" Ozark, Mo.  Before I built that house, I had a pretty big fear of snakes.  But now I'm fairly used to them.  We see them all summ...

HOW I FELL IN LOVE WITH ROCK N ROLL

My folks have never been music lovers.  This has always struck me as odd because my dad's uncle, Don Day, has practically dedicated his life to bluegrass music.  He converted his dairy farm ...
