friends, knitting, rock climbing, cycling, wine, consciously consuming and eating, roller skating, travel, listening to- singing-writing music, family, farmers' market, bonfires in the yard, cooking, camping, st. vinnie's and t.j. maxx shopping sprees, tea, social work, live concerts, river canoeing and kayaking, snuggling in bed with my dogs and cat, dancing in the kitchen with my mike, making mixed cd's for my friends (whether you want them or not), neighborhood festivals, gardening, throwing parties, grilling stir-frys, taking drunk pictures, rescuing strays and so on. pretty simple stuff, i guess. occasionally, you may find me doing something more adventurous such as surfing, wakeboarding or snowboarding. i suck at snowboarding so i might give it up. i'm kind of a quitter if i'm not naturally good at something.

on myspace? people i already know, perhaps their other friends, and good bands. in general? i really don't know.
Music:
recently rotating in the player: the good the bad and the queen, damien marley, matisyahu, amy winehouse, balkan beat box, beastie boys, lots of my mixies (i mix 'em up so good, let me tell you), cougar, dat politics, the books, state radio, deltron 3030 and various shit from the library - some really rocks and some really does not so much rock. and i'm racking up the late fines like a mofo!
Movies:
my movie recollection is very poor. i don't typically enjoy when people quote movies to be funny. usually because i don't get it or remember the quotes. so then i have to fake laugh. but i shouldn't fake laugh anymore.
Television:
oh, you won't find me denying it. i fancy some top chef, project runway, antm, the soup, the king of queens, and deal or no deal. occasionally i find something engaging on public tv and the discovery channel. classics include the cosby show & golden girls.
Books:
currently, "selected stories by franz kafka," "the jungle" by upton sinclair, and "how to practice: the way to a meaningful life" by dalai lama and jeffrey hopkins.book club is currently taking on "for whom the bell tolls" by ernest hemingway.
