Poseidon is an heavy metal band from Milan born in autumn 2004 when Valek vocals) and Wulb (lead guitar), coming from different musical experiences, met Fede (guitar) and Andrea (bass), looking for band members too. Their purpose was to create their own music and to play it live, and they soon started to compose mixing their different musical influences. After many researches for a drummer two guys succeeded (Greg and Stefano) till summer 2005 when Ben, brother of Valek, joined the band behind the drums. Other member changes were in the air: Andrea left the band and his role was replaced by Daniel. With this line up the band started to promote its music onstage and to many music contests obtaining the enthusiasm of the public dragging it with their pure heavy metal. In june 2006 Daniel left the band and in autumn a guest bass, Teo, played with the band live and on the recording of a mini demo album. The band decided to persevere on working on new songs. Finally in april 2007 the fifth element was found and Vlad took place as the new bassist. With the new line up the band returned on stage, many songs are still under creation and the band is going to record its first full album.

I Poseidon sono una band heavy metal di Milano nata nell’autunno 2004 quando Valek (voce) e Wulb (lead guitar), reduci da diverse esperienze musicali incontrano Fede (rhytm guitar) e Andrea (bass), anche loro alla ricerca di componenti per una band di puro metal. Il loro scopo era quello di creare pezzi propri e suonarli dal vivo, e le idee iniziano presto ad emergere fondendo le diverse influenze dei quattro. Dopo diverse ricerche di un batterista si susseguirono alle pelli Greg e Stefano, fino all’estate 2005 quando Ben, fratello di Valek, entra nella band dietro le pelli. Il 2005 vede un altro cambio di line up: Andrea lascia la band e il suo posto viene occupato da Daniel. Con questa formazione la band inizia una serie di concerti e partecipa a diversi concorsi riscuotendo l’entusiasmo del pubblico coinvolgendolo con il loro puro heavy metal. Nel giugno 2006 Daniel lascia la band e nell’autunno partecipa alla registrazione di un mini demo Teo, in veste di guest al basso. La band decide di continuare a lavorare sui nuovi pezzi. Infine, nell'aprile 2007 la band trova il suo quinto elemento e Vlad prende parte al combo come bassista. Con la nuova formazione la band ritorna a calcare i palchi, molto materiale è in creazione e a breve inizieranno le registrazioni del primo album.
