Welcome to de Funk-a-Dome/ L7's Step off & Owt!!!!

About Me

You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !African American with a lil' Cherokee from my moms side & West Indian descent on my father's. I'm an artist and a musician who plays bass & rhythm guitars, percussions and a little keyboards but I'm not a keyboard player so don't go there, I like listening to Funk, Fusion, Smooth Jazz, late 70's to early 90's hip hop, R & B and rock & pop from the 70's to90's and yeah 80's metal, most people that know me ( I mean really know me ) usually describe me as being a laid back carefree creative soul who can also be an unpredictable madcap sort of fella. I like to collect alot of live performances on CD & DVD and I'm a self admitted Sci-Fi nut, but not a sports fan so ladies you don't have to worry about sports taking my time from you unless a good sci-fi or crime drama is on ( wink wink!!! ) I also collect alot of music books to albums and sheet music (since 1977) majority of them to EWF albums.

Of course ..1 is music for it's my passion, also just starting to get into a little computer graphics, used to draw but that was years ago before the music bug really took over, I collect alot of dvd's dealing with computer animation, anime, stand up comedy and of course Sci-Fi. Also collect alot of CD's and have a pretty big music library on the computer and trying to learn some of the music software I have like cakewalk home studio 2004 and project5, and also reasons and just got a toneport UX2 to play with and just upgraded my memory to 2 gigs, so I can use the stuff, I wish I knew some tech minded musicians to help me get started, but hey the kid will keep on pushin'

Hosted at MySpacePranks.com

I'd like to meet:

Well for one some female musicians to kick it with, and of course other Bassists & Guitarists to learn off of and trade songs, riffs etc....I wouldn't mind finding other musicians that play smooth jazz that I can get transcriptions off of from artists like Peter White, Lee Ritenour or someone that can give me a lead where I can find sheet music or transcriptions of these artists music. One thing I'd like to add is unless I know you, I will not add you to my list if you have no profile information or pictures call it my suspicouis aquarian nature but I deal with people who are open and have nothing to hide, just like I have nothing to hide just keepin' it real folks !!! Please please with all the 3rd party chain love letters, you'll have better luck contacting me directly instead of through 3rd party chain love letters cut the kid some slack huh!!!!

Books:

I read alot of music related books that focus more on the equipment, techniques. Ya know the nitty gritty, I'm not into the ones focusing on thier lives I call those geepie gossip mags, for I don't care who you're sleepin' with as long as I find out the groove making process and how you came about doing it, then it's cool with me. Just got through reading " Standing In The Shadows Of Motown (The Life & Music Of Legendary Bassist James Jamerson) and Chester Himes " Blind Man With A Pistol " those are my recently read books and of course I read Sci-Fi's & Mysteries. ..
